A "bad guy" got busted in Bakersfield, today. What for, I don't know. The detectives/police found a bunch of nice stuff at the home of the person that got busted. The police ran the serial number on the PS3 they found to see who it belonged to...
and it was us!!!
WE GOT OUR NEW TV AND PS3 BACK!!!
Dave went down to the police station today and picked them up. I'm still in shock...I don't think I'll REALLY believe it until I go home this weekend for Easter and see them with my own eyes. Still no luck with Dave's ring and his laptop, but that's TOTALLY okay, because both those were paid off and not worth as much money (although the ring did have TONS of sentimental value, of course). We have been making payments each month on the TV and PS3 (hooray for Best Buy's no interest deals!!), and it was pretty sad having to pay for something we no longer owned.
When I bought Dave the PS3 for Christmas, I got to pick 5 Blu-ray DVDs as a rebate. I just got the DVDs a few weeks ago and it sucked being reminded that our stuff was stolen, but now we can watch them!!! This is so, so, so, so cool. You have NO IDEA...or do you?

that is so crazy! hooray for the bpd. they found my dad's stolen car/stuff a couple years back and now i have all faith in them. :)
